    GP38's are pretty much gone from NS. but when I went though my old photos, I did find that I had quite a few pics. I will share them here with you.

    A lot of GP38's were sold off and now work for short lines. Many GP38AC's have been rebuilt and still ply the NS rails as GP38-2's.

    Do you happen to have #2758 or 2761 in your collection? I have the n-scale version of those. Be interesting to compare to the real thing.

    wow, I didn't realize the SOU units had the short fuel tank. no need to bother trying to model that!!

    I forgot about that feature! The Southern units were delivered with the small fuel tanks in an effort ot keep weight down. I think the small tanks were replaced with larger ones from SD35's when they were retired.
