OK, gurus, what horns did Grande second-gen diesels have? I'm talking SD45/50/40T-2, GP30/35/40/40-2/60.

With BLMA's new line of lost wax brass horns, I need to update the fleet with correct horns. I could dig thru my library, but at this hour, I'm too lazy to do so. Any websites that I can check?

    I'll drop a note to a friend.
He should know! Works for UP now, but started with the Grande way back when!

Anyone I know? I know a hostler at NY, not sure if he is a Grande alumni or not. Chip Sherman is his name, if I didn't butcher the last name.

    Definitely not Chip.
Alan would have a few things to say about him!
Sent Alan an Email. Hopefully, I'll hear something
tomorrow AM, or in the near future.

Keith and I know Allen Ginther. Good N Scale Modeler to boot!! According to the most recent "Prospector" Magazine with an awesome article on the Grande's GP40-2's, 3094-3128 were delivered with "Rio Grande's standard Nathan M3 air horn" The last 2, 3129 and 3130, received Leslie RSL-3L-R's. Later in life, '77ish, 3098 received a Nathan P5. 3107 got a Leslie RSL-3L-R in the same time period. The others may have been changed too but that's all the article mentions. That's as much as I know....
