I just joined and wanted to say hello. I am an N scale modeler on my third layout (under construction). I have never used DCC, but think it is time for this old dog to learn new tricks. I am hoping to learn about DCC from people who actually use it (not those that sell it) and incorporte it into my ralilroad.
Hey Baron, Happy to welcome a Fellow Mississipian. Glad to hear you're working on your third layout. I've found it's always fun to apply what you've learned from earlier layouts. I'm not sure, but I think I'm working on my seventh or eigth since 1947. Though tell you what, this is my best effort, at least in my opinion. I can't help you with DCC, but I'll be happy to discuss any other questions you might have. BTW, I'm in Harrison County if you want to drop by.
And I'll join the chorus of well mets! I think you'll find a lot of folks here at various stages of the DCC learning curve who'll be happy to share their experiences and thoughts.
Welcome aboard the Trainboard. I'm sure you'll find lots of useful information here as you read through things. Along with DCC is not that difficult. Just keep it simple and it will be just that. Ask away as the question arise
