Went to the Great Train Expo at Cal Expo today. It was one of the better GTEs I've ever attended. Lots of new old stock and appropriately priced used stuff. Lots of McKean and front range stuff. I was pleasently surprised. The layouts weren't as good as one might hope, but the salesfloor was. I'm mainly posting this as a counter to recent complaints about the OC show. Also, I didn't pay parking so that was nice.
