Hey guys, I believe I have come across a real RR my ficticious HO switchback losely resembles. I believe I subconciously always believed I'd one day find a real one mine could become and change its working name to that, too. Well, I think that day may have arrived..I bought a Louisville & Nashville RS3 a few months back merely because I liked the livery and like RS's..Also, I needed a diesel to compliment my 2 transition-era steam...I frequently look for real standard gauge switchbacks which are few...I searched L&N and found out about Hagans (Hagan's ?) ..I've been through the L&N Historical Society's pages and photos which are terrific..What I want to know, is there a book about L&N which discusses Hagans SB and which describes the industry on it , its coal producer/mine(s) and if there were other companies along its odd trackage ?..For instance, how long was the SB tail track ? How many cars did/does it fit before reversing direction for remainder of run ? What was its total milage ?, et al ? I'm really jazzed about hopfully and finally naming my little switchback Louisville & Nashville and thus legitimizing its existence as Hagans switchback which really was and I believe, still is !! Thanks for the attention, Mark
