OUTPUTS (with 10 pin optional ribbon connector and cable): With 4 different flickering outputs to simulate flares, you can reproduce rear and front train protection for switching operations or what ever your layout might require. The ProtoSwitch also has 4 LED outputs. 2 in the thrown position and 2 in the closed position. It also has the ability to have 1 LED in each position blink by the placing or removing of a small shunt (jumper).These outputs can be used for fascia mounted LED’s or to do simple signal control. The ProtoSwitch has the ability to be a latched or momentary output by the placing or removing of a small shunt (jumper). There is also an adjustable trim pot to select the speed of the turnout throw; this allows you to get prototypical throw speed of your turnout.
