Hi Charlie, I think a problem most people are having is not prepping prior to the install. Mainly having a cluttered HD that has never been DeFraged, not doing a clean and safe install, not washing the CD prior to using and etc.
You are suppose to wash a CD before you use it? Makes sense, but I'd like to hear your reasons why, if you wouldn't mind.
Rick, Yes it helps a lot. A lot of times there is a film on the CD that the laser does not like to read through. Just use a drop of dish soap and warm water. Run it around with your fingertips, rince ant pat dry with a soft cloth.
