Hi Folks, My name is Bob. I have been fascinated with trains my entire life. As a young boy, my dad and I built several layouts in HO and N scale. Once I left for college, life took over and the hobby unfortunately took a back seat to my career. Well, soon I'll be retired and my hope is to start back up in N scale. I'm sure a lot has changed in model railroading since the 1970's. I hope to learn and grow from the knowledge and wisdom on this board. Thanks!
Welcome Aboard Bob !!! There's several N scale build threads on TrainBoard along with several Z and a few HO. I like looking at all of them, a lot of great ideas that can come in handy. Joe
Welcome Bob, N scale has come along way since the 70's. Modern manufactured locomotives run way better and giant size wheel flanges are a mostly a thing of the past.
