My name is Rakesh Anderson, and I'm a Production Sound Mixer in Los Angeles. I'm new to model trains and haven't touched on since I was a kid, probably 30+ years ago. I was looking for something interesting to do with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi while not working due to the Covid, and found a video showing some Arduino and DCC++ action, and was intrigued. My plan was to make an Inglenook Switching Puzzle in N scale, but it's not as simple as it looked on Youtube. So here I am. Thanks for having me, and I look forward to interacting with you.
Hi Rakesh, welcome. Glad to have you on board. You'll find plenty of help and discussions in DCC & Electronics under the Model Railroading Forum.
Welcome to TrainBoard. There are a lot of smart people with good ideas on this forum. I myself work in a different direction than what you mentioned. However, I believe you can find a lot of answers here. People here are very helpful.
Welcome aboard, Rakesh. Sounds like the coronavirus had at least one positive attribute, bringing you back to the hobby.
