Gday folks, My name is James I'm from Brisbane Australia. I've been active on other MR boards since 2004 and have been interested in Model Railroading since I was a young fella watching my Grand father run trains on his layout. I originally started in HO after inheriting his rollingstock but about 5 years ago converted to N scale. I just tore my old 10'6" x 3' layout down to start a new L shape layout consisting of two 8' modules. I model primarily modern BNSF and UP operations and after seeing Jim Reisings layout followed the trail to Trainboard. Reading through the construction thread I've moved my plans for something between Jims and Pelle Soeberg's Daneville layout. I'm the president of the local cricket club and enjoy playing that most of the year. I also enjoy golf ( I am just a hacker!) and the various football codes (excluding soccer! ):happy: I plan on starting a new post following the construction of the layout... I just need to wait for the track to arrive...
