Hi All; hope that you are all well and warm! Have been a train freak all my life - Mom always said that she though I was born in a caboose as I was an early riser like railroad folks, and loved watching trains when I could not yet walk. About 12, I started my first 4x8 layout after finding MR: 1964 July addition was my first. Raised in the Spokane, WA area I had NP, GN, SP&S and those still are my favorites. Ya, UP, SI and MILW also but not quite that same. I have had multiple layouts over the years from that first one to ones that filled bedrooms. Have been living in Libby, MT since 2004 and have an outbuilding specifically for train stuff. We retired due to Covid and am planning on a multilevel layout with long main runs, switching and operations. Thanks for looking! todh
Hay Boxcabe50 - looked at your site. Seems we have stood in the almost the same locations for pix taking although you started earlier than I. Got my first Pentax 1990ish and that is when I started.
Welcome to TrainBoard! I don't know where Libby is but you do so all is good. Technically I retired due to virus as well. Have fun!
Thanks gmorider - Libby is located kinda in the northwest corner of Montana on Hwy2. It is about 45 miles East of Bonner's Ferry Id. Enjoy your turkey funeral!
Todd, your comment is perfect. The "rules" concerning COVID-19 are quite clear. No more than 10 persons may attend a Thanksgiving dinner. However, up to 30 persons may attend a funeral. My condolences and sympathy to the turkey's family. I hope the mourners bereave appropriately.
