How does one remove the shell off'n one's FP45? I have removed the couplers. Before I break anything, what is the proper method? Trying to install a digitrax DN163K1B decoder. Ta!
I gently wedge two round toothpicks on each side to release and pull it off. Be aware of your finger locations and the stirrups as the can be bent in very easily if you push in on them while pulling up the shell.
