I am trying to install a Fred in a MT auto rack. After snaping off the roof, there is a large block of translucent plastic to which the metal sides are glued. The plastic block seems to be glued to the floor. I didn't get much farther as I didn't want to bend the sides. Does anyone have experience installing a Fred in a MT auto rack? Would a Red Caboose rack be easier?
