Hi guys. A friend emailed me with a photo of what looks like a Lionel post war (WWII) steamer. He says it doesn't run. Do any of you know of a Lionel repair shop in the Western US, preferably Pacific Northwest? I am going to try to pry more info from him and post it here. In the meantime, thanks for any info. :teeth:
. Can you post a photo of the locomotive or supply additional information about the type, year it was made, etc. etc. etc. The more info available, the quicker someone may be able to help. .
Suggest a local hobby store. Many local hobby stores I have been around to here are certified by Lionel to repair .
BTW..I would say the wiring is shot, because those old motors run forever. I have a pair of lionel steamers that are a good 50 years old that run like a top. 100% original.
