I have a set of four 60' Harriman Common heavyweight cars by Wheels of Time that I want to put passengers in. None of the usual methods of removing car bodies from the chassis seem to be working. Does anyone have any ideas?

These are the cars in question: https://www.wheelsotime.com/60-ft-harriman-coach/

I've checked the Wheels of Time website and blog, no joy. A 'contact us' has gone unanswered.

Happy Labor End of the Grilling Season Day!

I only have a couple of express cars........the roofs on those are just a press fit with 4 small locator pins. There is an extensive "web" of plastic under that.......if the coaches have the same web, you wouldn't be able to insert passengers from the top. Looking thru the holes, you can see what appears to be 4 clips. Not sure that the coaches are the same, because you are looking directly at the weights as well. So I'm not surehow the seats are held in. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful, but might give you a starting point

Thanks, guys. RE the video, my cars seem to be from an earlier run (olive, Western Pacific). The current ones, like the one pictured in the video) are advertised and shown as being equipped with metal wheels. Mine came with plastic ones. Removing the roof is a real struggle, so much so that I have stopped trying, fearing real damage to the model. I am sending another message to WoT asking for suggestions from them.
    Again, thanks!

The car in the video looks exactly like mine with the roof removed. The gap is micro-thin so getting ahold of the lip is really hard......I got it with my fingernail, but a thin exacto blade might be better. And you need to get both ends at the same time and lift straight up. I looked again, and there are 4 tabs on the bottom of the walls of the car, one behind/under each of the inside wheels .......the express cars have 6 axle trucks so exact placement might be slightly different. Again, I just hooked the lip of the shell with a fingernail and pried out slightly and the floor of the car popped right out.

I looked at the video again, and you can see the clips that hold the floor in place just under the inside wheel.......so same location on the 4 wheel trucks as the 6.
