    Hi

I live near Nottingham in the UK and I work at a local University in administration. I am pretty new to model trains and my son and I started an N gauge project for fun, and we so far our ambition exceeds our skills!! I have joined this forum to find help and support, but also to meet like minded people.

    Thanks.

Joe, we're glad to have the two of you along. Personally, I've always thought that when our ambitions and dreams don't outstrip our skills is when we stop progressing. Enjoy the ride!

    Hi, Joe!

The fact you're on THIS forum suggests very strongly that you are at least thinking of doing US outline models, though there are some on here do UK outline.

    1) Welcome aboard.

    2) You'd be surprised - well, perhaps not! - at how many UK residents are on here - some more "active" than others.

    3) Don't be afraid to ask questions. Whatever the query, someone on here will have the answer and other members have said in the past that the only dumb question is the one you DON'T ask.

    Regards,

    Pete Davies
