Hi my name is Leen, originally from The Netherlands. Recently as handed over my dad and grand dad marklin trainsets and are now looking to setup a new track with DCC control of locs, signals, exchanges and everything else that goes with running a train set. Just ordered the Arduino mega to see if this will do the trick with my 2 screen iMac as control center.
Hi Leen, welcome, glad to have you on board. Wow, the image of operating an automated layout from a two-screen control center staggers this DC Dinosaur's mind. Sounds like fun.
Welcome, Leen! Looking forward to hearing about your progress. Having a background is software engineering, I would be remiss in saying that I have not thought about how to apply that to the hobby (although I am leaning towards NetDuino/Meadow, since that is more in my wheelhouse).
