Just popping in to say hello to all and introduce myself; have newly discovered the fun of train travel, just returned for my first newbie try-out spin, overnight from AZ to Union Station in Los Angeles, CA on the Sunset Limited-Texas Eagle. What fun! Had a sleeper-room, even had room service steak dinner delivered by car attendant when too lazy to go to the dining car on the return trip. ALready booked my next train trip: to Yosemite National Park in June! Browsing now to squeeze another one in before then. I am Hooked!!!

Auntie, Welcome to the TrainBoard, we're happy to have you on board! I love train travel also, but don't get to do it enough, so I guess I'll have to live enviously through your trip reports and photos.

Welcome to Trainboard. I started out riding trains before I can remember and I still ride whenever I can. In fact I am going to Chicago on the Eagle this weekend.

I'll add my welcome too, Auntie.
I love to travel by rail if time is not an issue. Sure do meet alot of nice folks when doing so.
Your trip to Yosemite sounds great. What train are you taking to the venue?
