I am returning to the hobby after a 20 year absence via my Grandson. I was in HO but I guess it will be OO now as my Grandson is very passionate about Thomas The Tank Engine. We will start off small and modular to save space, if he gets the bug it will grow and if he doesn't it will grow as Grandpa's railroad:wink: This is because after going through just the planning stage I have already become re-infected. We will also go with DCC and sound.
Good for you! I don't think I can count the number of folks who have become interested via Sodor - an NTrack club I used to belong to would even occasionally pull out Thomas to run. Hope you both have a blast!
