Hi Everyone. I'm Marcus. I'm very much interested in PGE-BCR modeling. Many years ago I had a small HO PGE-BCR layout (freelance). HO has since been packed away and I wanted to do N Scale. Being busy in life, N Scale became more of a collection. Now, as of last month, I'm pursuing my model railroad interest. I am in Z scale to do small office layout as well as N scale if possible, in time and as larger basement layout. I choose PGE-BCR modeling thanks to many publications and local hobby shows. PGE-BCR is very colorful, historical and provides much opportunity for modeling. Additionally, even though I live in Ontario Canada my two trips to Vancouver allowed me to take train ride and visit the museums. I am modelling z scale, first, in my office. I've purchased some loco's, freight and laser kits along with starter set to begin with. I'm having fun as time permits. Family members certainly see me smile ear to ear. The layout theme I plan on doing at this time is some loggin, tie plant, roundhouse at one end and a wye at the other end of dogbone style. In between, mutli-train operation, point-to-point, switching yards I haven't all figured out yet. I have a lot of catching up to do and hope to collaborate and learn with you. Cheers! BCR/PGE would be a great subject. If you are doing the two-tone green era, as it sounds, you get all those wonderful MLW "Alcos" and the RDCs. I look forward to seeing your projects here. Welcome to TrainBoard!
