History - Clinchfield Railroad By Gordon Odegard N Scale

The "Clinchfield Railroad" was an early N scale model railroad made by Gordon odegard while he was editor of Model Railroader magazine. Over time, this 6 x 13 foot coal operations railroad has become owned by David Fugate in Virginia. The 2008 Derby City Express N Scale Convention (Louisville, Kentucky) had this layout on display and operating. John Sing, our ever present photographer on the scene of all things, has posted several photos of the layout in this thread. John's explanation of the layout is very informative. This is a good thread for all N scale modelers.
