This video shows a straight forward way to slow down freight traffic coasting down the hump yard. Thanks for viewing!! logandsawman
Pretty cool! I have seen model hump yards where the owner drills a small hole and puts a couple of bristles from a paint brush in the holes to slow cars down. It took a little bit of time to figure out the correct amount of bristles and how long they should be... but, once he figured it out... everything works well. Not quite as involved as this set up. Also, who in their right mind lets a cat into their layout room!!! When I was younger, I had a 4x8 in my parents house, who happened to own a cat, and every day I was fixing what "Kittyzilla" had destroyed during the night! LOL! JMS
John--Thanks for checking it out. I found that all the cars rolled differently so there had to be a way to adjust the travel. As far as the cat goes, she is 19 and no threat to get on the table. She was just coming to see what I was doing under there.
