Does anyone know where I can find a list of Southern diesel locos sold by the various model rr maufacturers?
I am looking mainly for a "tuxedo"--black w/"white" (silver aluminun then) stripe.
    Thanks in advance.

Jai, most of the factory painted Southern engines are not really that nice looking, I would recommend getting the engine you want undec and paint it yourself, its really a simple paint job when you use Microscales decals, I've done about 15 Southern engines in my short career as a "diesel builder". The last one I did was the GP40X, I,ve got an SD40-2, a GP35, and an SW7 in progress right now, all SOUTHERN. Oh well sorry about the ramble, SOU. is my favorite road. Sorry I don't have a list of engines.

    Dieselbldr,
You didn't like the new Atlas GP38s in SOU scheme? How about the P2K E-8s? I have to admit most of my SOU equipment is N scale. It's been hit and miss there as far as quality paint jobs. I don't mind painting up my own if necessary in either scale.

    Jaijef,
I'll check on a mailing list I'm apart of for a listing. I know of a Seaboard Air Line list. I'm pretty sure there's a web site with a list of Southern models. I'll let you know either way.

I guess I'm just not a fan of pre-painted units, I like to build....LOL  Some of them are nice, just not for me  Here is a link to one of the better Southern web pages, you could probably ask someone there about a list; http://www.sourwy.railfan.net
I will look around also and try to find something!!!! [IMG]

I know of very few SOU diesels available in model form. Seems to me you may have to do "nose jobs" and repaint them in the Tuxedo scheme. To quote Metallica, "Sad but true". :D
Good luck in your search, jaijef.
