The 44 ton is about the same as the 70ton. The shell is little bigger on the 70 ton. 36mm mid truck to mid truck 53mm is the lenth of the frame 9mm wide 15mm high,bottom of the frame to top of the frame.(trucks not encluded) Not the same frame though.
I apologize if this is a rather stupid question, but the whole Shapeways concept is rather new to me. I was surfing through some of the HOn30 items and found a cab/tender etc for converting the Bachmann N 2-8-0 to HOn30. I was kind of surprised by the lowish prices that were listed with the tender specifically. My question is if these items are actual kits sent to you, or if you pay for the templates? I'm not sure why I'm so unsure about this, but I would appreciate some clarification! Thanks, Chris
This is also my first looking into such items. I am presuming they come as shown in the folders. Formed and ready to paint prep, not a flat kit.
