Gee, guys how much time do ya'll spend here? I went looking thru all the other board topics and it seem ya'll never leave.LOL Well thanks for the big welcome in my other post. I'm looking for freight car photos from the 30's. Anyone got any clues to where I might find said photos?
I don't know about some of the others, but i usually see what's going on here at least once a day... Maybe more if i feel like contributing. I'm not sure about the photos, but i'll see what sources i can come up with.
Stumpy, we live in a box car and roll around to where ever they'll feed us. A couple of us even know how to make slumgullian, 90weight squeezins'. You bring a little bread and an onion and we'll have every hobo here for miles around! I might find some old car photos, what kind? I am after photos of steam cranes and rotary snow plows. That's just a rumor. We sleep next to the firebox, and brush what teeth we have left with coal dust. It does leave a little grit, but we don't have any cavities! Hang on, I got to get my teeth out of the water glass. ------------------ Watash
