    Indeed I always have a 9 volt battery ready for checks…it is perfect.
    Good for N scale too ;)

    Scott and Joe, we have a lot new modelers, and I thought it will help them.
    Also, I don’t really have a dc controller, so this the only way to my repairs using dc.

    Kurt, it works fine. No damage, and it’s only 9 volts.
