Well John, Fitz, Watash etc... I made it to the great state of Texas. Already I have seen soooo many trains within 3-4 miles of my apartment that I can't keep up with them. I have UP and BNSF stuff all around. I even found and old SD7-9 in the Black Zebra Santa Fe paint still running around. Anyone else pick up an allegheny while I was gone. I want to hear about their impressions. Talk to you all later.
I knew someone was AWOL from all the steam discussions here. Welcome back. I assume you have relocated to the Lone Star State, eh?
Welcome back fellow Rivarossi buff! The more coal water, smoke and cinders the better! Sop you found some interesting things in the "Lone Star state" huh? Sounds interesting. Anyway, I haven't aquired anything new yet... But give me some time. Its hard to say what I'm bound to come up with next.... I'm currently detailing a few things of my own... And working on a few jobs that are in my shop at the moment. Keepin busy as always...
Nice to hear from you. Good write up in MR Feb 02. Picked up the Atlas dash 8-amtrak scheme and tops out around 120 actual MPH, fits in well with my cheapo Walthers F40PH at 115MPH.Chuck-Grand Rapids Mi
Saw my first SD90mac the other day and yesterday I was about 20 feet away from 2 of the new SD70s. Here is what I have seen so far, so if you need prototype shots I might be able to get them for you. Hey BNSF4354, welcome back to the land of the living! So you finally made it to Texas, hope everything they say is big including the trains! I haven't been on here much though, been cruising the net looking for items and other stuff.
