I'm preparing to paint 4 F3A's, 3 F3B's,a GP38RS, and a GP7. My paint scheme will be blue with a white "cigar band" around it. about the blue:
    should I use,
    1)Conrail blue
    2)CSX Blue
3)testors dark blue the epaint will be sealed with dullcote so I don't have to worry about glossy paint. THANKS!!!!

    A&A,
The CSX Blue is the same as Enhancement blue like the B&O and C&O used. The Conrail Blue kinda matches up to the shade called "Bankrupcy Blue" the the "Rock" used and created. As for the Testors Dark Blue, I like the B&O/C&O blue (enhancement blue) and the Conrail Blue, they have a "railroad background", but its only a opinion so.... You can match the shade of B&O/C&O, or CSX buy looking for "Testors Model Masters" paint color name "Blue Angel Blue" #1972 on the spray cap cap. I can't give any decent advise on the color match up to Conrail blue, Because I never had to get anything to match up for me or someone in my shop so I'm sorry I can't help out their. But thats not saying you can't give the Testors Dark Blue a railroad background if you use it, then it will have the background, but only in a freelanced way. And actually I do some freelancing so.... And I see nothing wrong with it. Let everyone know what your choice is latter for comments... ;)

Hmmm I'm thinking on the testor's standard blue, I can get it for 2.88 at wal-mart. Tye walmart NOR my hobby store carry the Model Masters line of testors paint, just the regular spray stuff

Thats ashame to the hobby shop though its great paint and is just alittle more expensive though but worth it... The Testors Model Masters paint is way better then the regular spray Testors.... Just about a dollar extra in price though. [IMG]
