BRIDGES! GIRDS deck syle, wood tress, steel tress, arch bridges, highway bridges. Please my Zbras (z bros) please post pictures of your favorite bridge pieces that you brought to life. Whether it be over water or vehicles, or over more tracks! pleaseee post your fav or multiple bridge lay out scenes! Can't wait to see them. I'm working on a little project right now, should be done soon, I will be sure to post and add right when I'm done with 2nd piece. working on 2nd one now, Just finished first air brush coat waiting for it to dry. Going to make the base black in stead of grey. I love them so far, what do you guys think? P.S I really need the new BNSF SD75 or whatever it is. All orange base with black and yellow, so sexy! Also do they make a bnsf sd-40? I'm not much of a gp35 lover as to 40s or 70s. F7 is next on the list after the BNSF sd75
Well, those that know me best here know I don't have a layout yet but plan on a few using the D&H as my preferred road and I have picked up these two pieces (N & HO) for usage someday. Have not seen one produced in Z yet but would add it if it was produced. -
Ok, then I'll just link to the general show your bridge thread in case anyone wants to see bridges from all scales. Bridges - show yours
I hope it is all right for me to post this. One of my favorite bridge photos can be found on Jurg's Rosetown site Unbenanntes Dokument There are a number of bridge photos at this link but my favorite is the last photo in the string, scroll to the far right. No one I show this photo to believes it is Z scale.
JC the water in that attachment is incredible!! Yep, Socalz44's bridge is Z scale. Jim is our resident Photo Contest champion, all of which is accomplished in Z scale.

This is my scratchbuilt oldtime trestle bridge: These are my Camelback truss and Pratt truss bridges on the module I am working on now:
Matt, You can't get plans for something scratch built. This was done one stick at a time by Jim OConnel. Scratch built means you take pieces of this and that and go for it. And in this case Jim really went for it in a very nice way. Also you see Robert Ray's trestle bridge pictures..........more scratch built. We have some very creative folks in this scale.
Matt, Next time you're on the West Coast come to San Diego and you can see the bridges and the layout first hand. Here is something that may be of interest to you: http://www.trainboard.com/railimages/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/6936 Cheers, Jim CCRR/Socalz44
