i have just ordered styrene for my Illinois Central Green Diamond, and while planning the paint scheme, I ran into the problem of decals. The Green Diamond looks like it uses the same font as the gold lettering on the brown and orange cars. I can’t find decals for those, let alone silver ones. Railfonts.com has this font, but I would rather not pay for that and then pay for decal paper and still have to design the decals. That would pretty much double the price of the decals, assuming decals are normally $8-10. Does anyone know where to get Illinois Central passenger car decals? I would like them in silver, but I have heard of a trick where you paint the color you want, put a dry transfer on, and then paint the rest of the model. When you take the dry transfer off, it reveals the original color you painted underneath.
