Hey everyone, I ordered a Broadway Limited Blueline UP Mikado and (im)patiently waiting it's scheduled delivery of tomorrow. I'm already planning on adding some details to it, and I can't seem to locate one specific detail part. I'm looking for a sweeny smoke stack, and apparently a company called A.W. Enterprises makes one (157-008 stack, SP type) matching what I need, but I cannot for the life of me locate one. The LHS doesn't carry AW products so my only choice is the interwebz.

Can anyone help me out? Many thanks in advance

Thanks for the link, but I could not find the part. Oh well, maybe I could fabricate my own out of styrene. I know I have to lengthen the footboards and add numberboards near the stack, might as well do some more.

Other then that, I finally came home and it was waiting for me. I am so impressed with this locomotive. It's my first with sound, and I am delighted. Only a little disappointment stems from the lack of whistle. I know DCC allows me to use the bell and whistle, and I know that many of the effects of the locomotive are randomly sounding off in DC. Why can't the whistle be random like the other sounds? I don't want to shell out another $40 on a controller for only one locomotive that uses sound. I'd like to hear the Mike speak, I don't want a mute Mike. I have it sitting next to me idling, and all the sounds are fantastic.

It needs to be broken in, as it isn't smooth going slow but it'll get a lot of running time over the next few weeks :)
