I visited N SCALE SUPPLY's website today and
there was an announcement that Intermountain
is doing FT A/Bs and they will be released in
the Spring of 2001. Anyone heard any scuttlebut about these new locos?

Yep, old news. But thanks for reminding those who need them, I hear Kato is doing them too. Just what we need, more Bulldogs! [IMG] At least it's a real classic this time. The FT was the Diesel that killed the Steamers. (Sorry watash, I know you don't like to be reminded about that.) [IMG]

I think you should check your sources on this one, I believe that Micro-Trains is making them.

Hope that MICRO-TRAINS does a good of a job with the FT's as they do with the cars they produce. MT could give KATO, ATLAS, a run for the money. After diesels maybe STEAM!!!

    I can wish can't I?

Micro-Trains has already produced steam in two scales. They've done Southern Pacific steam in Z scale and Colorado & Southern steam in Nn3. Both those engines went for a few hundred dollars, so I'm not waiting for $200 Micro-Trains diesels. I'll stick with the Intermountain models, thank you.

Both MT & Intermountain are making the FT's. Intermountains are scheduled for early 2001 and MT's are set for late 2001.

Yeh the FT's came on strong but they sure need alot of help from steam. Steam pulled them in from the line when they broke down and helped them over the mountains.
I lash up steam to E8 and FT's to get a nice effect.
I could use some good running FT's.
