    Hi GGN,
The file you added looks good. In looking at it, I can't tell if the file includes the bottom for the container or would I need this file and Stephane's file to get both parts? I don't have a 3d printer yet but my son told me he could give it a shot using one of the 3d printers in a lab where he goes to college. Think he's really just wanting to learn how to use the printer and at least he thought about trying something for my layout. :)

    Hi
Yes, the bottom piece is there. I put the two pieces together on a single layout. Depending on the size of the build plate you may have to reposition or remove one of the pairs. My build plate will take two bodies and two bottoms, but could squeeze more. You cut the piece along the vent holes, sand or file the two pieces to fit. Install the disk magnets in the holes, and assemble with glue. Remember to make a master container so all of the magnets line up correctly!

I updated the design of the 40 foot container again. Better internal brace design. It is in "Resources" tab on this site, URL is the same for accessing TinkerCad.

I have changed the file to remove the bracing. I printed a number of 40 foot containers just fine. Then, the temperature in my garage dropped... The prints began to have a long crease on the side, almost the full length. I am thinking this is/was related to the changes in print exposure and speed of the polymerization reactions as well as some additional shrinkage. So, I rebuilt the .stl file in the resource listing to remove the brace. I will just clamp the top and bottom pieces to remove the bowing, and hope the glue holds in tension...(y)
