I am a new at HO modeling although I have had a interest in trains and model trains most of my life.

Have a computer background..taught PC for a while. Also have an artistic background. Now disabled.

I am in the process of making a layout typical of Georgia during the 1945-1955 era since it was the period that the steamers and diesels. The trains typically run were Southern, Georgia, and Central of Georgia. Running it in HO scale.

Can use all the help I can get for that era and reasonably priced resources. Most scenics will have to be handmade for financial reasons. Need the articles, free templates, and instruction materials to be able to do this.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get....

    Welcome at TrainBoard, ganerd.

Model Railroad is a hobby where you can do with small budget big things. Consider scratch building something like structures or even roster. I did it.
