custom made for Alex. Intensive super detailed: "standard" treatment with see-through fans, grab irons, lift rings wind screen wipers and closed front pilot with MU-hoses, cut-lever and snowplow. The loco received new railings, break ratchet, correct air filter bump and dry air filter housing, open exhaust stacks, relocated the horn and added metal louvers. The tank was also milled shorter. The rear windows where opened up to. Of course new decals, paint job and light weathering of the trucks.

Looks very good, Gerd! I like the louvers. Did you also do the door at the engineers side?

Nice engine! Do you use any kind of clear coating to seal the paint, decals and weathering?

Frank, no, the door is something for specialists like you ;)

Thanks Gerd, But it is maybe an idea for next new fret design for you to add a spartan cab door to it. An etched door would look better than my styrene door in my GP40-2.
