do the conrail sd80 have a blue or black walkkway--modelrailroader magazine says they should be black-----whats correct color

Kato pretty much has to paint it the same colour as the hand rails or the colour of the plastic as it is all one piece, although I don't think Atlas has trouble doing it Happy Railroading! Dane
LL has the opposite problem with SOO SD60's in HO - the walkway is black on the model but white on the real thing. Painting the walkways black is fairly simple. Painting black walkways to match the body is not.
