Welcome to February! I don’t know about you, but January flew by. Now it’s time to see what we have planned for the weekend on our model railroad.

I’m not planning on getting much done other than operating a bit and organizing the items I got last weekend at the big show. We finally have enough snow in Central New Hampshire that I no longer have to trailer my snowmobile up north but rather just make a left out of my parents yard to hit the main corridor. After running my new Athearn Genesis B&M GP38-2 at the club last night, I’m more motivated to completely give up N and start on a pair of Free-Mo modules. That will have to come latter in the spring however.

So how about you? What do you have planned for the weekend? Let us know. We’ll assemble again on Monday the 4th to see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as alway...

    High Greens!

Well, I have track finally. Last night I sanded the cork roadbed, Saturday I hope to paint it a medium flat grey to match the ballast and start soldering feeder wires to the first few segments and a turnout or two. Sunday I hope to get the track down.

Sunday - while watching the SB game -- I'll work on something at my work bench -- what-? I haven't decided yet. Get back to decaling my Lark - ? Start on a Rock Island project I have in store - ? HMMM - we'll see.

    Y'all have a great weekend,

Still messing around with my control panel getting the LED illumination just right. I just received Kato's new model power pack and thankfully it's the same size as the outgoing model and fits perfectly in the center section of my panel.

Today I am back in tree building mode. Sunday I ballast track and then finish a pile of trees waiting. The mountain was painted this week so almost complete.

Continue working on an HOn30 resin box car kit. Maybe, just maybe far enough along on it that by mid-week I will dig out and fire up the paint booth.

I'll be 3D printing this weekend. Hopefully I'll have this when I'm done dialing in my settings:

You might be right! The black material makes them pretty hard to photograph. N Scale:
