Woo Hoo! It's the weekend! Well okay, maybe not yet, but we're close! While I will be working with plywood this weekend, it won't be layout related. As stated earlier in the week, mid August till early November is airplane show season for me and the magazine. This weekend has a one day show for me and I must finish my project that allows me to get two 40" plus and four smaller R/C planes in Jess my Jeep Wrangler. However, operations on my current N scale layout happen daily and notes are taken for how I wish to do things when the day of the complete re-build happens. I'm looking forward to that day. So how about you? What plans do you have for your miniature pike? Maybe some track work or wiring? How about some structure projects? Whatever your plans are, let us know! I'm not planning much. My daughter is driving down from Maine this evening for a visit. Of course, the real reason is that she needs to get her car inspected in Massachusetts, but we'll have a nice dinner anyway. Sunday, I'll be driving up there to watch her compete in a triathlon. It looks like a busy weekend, but if I do get some time I'll work on the mortar of another tannery building, and try to get the salt hopper painted.
I've got three diesel builds, one tank car rehab, and two major track work reworks to choose from. Plus the long list of honey-dos.
Well, before I build anything... My work bench became so cramped for space, that I could barely function. So everything was moved off, and now I must finish re-arranging. Then see what is missing and go searching... Argh.
No model railroading for me this weekend. I am down in Monterey, CA this weekend selling some of my classic and collector cars at the Mecum Auction. Doing real good so far, but have a few more days to go.
