We are in the heart of October, looks like my Red Sox are doing well and those guys south of me in St. Louis are real happy too.

Not much planned for the weekend other than winterize Jess the Railfan Jeep, Janet the airplane Jeep and Tori, the family SUV/Minivan/crossover thing. All get washed, clay bar and wax to get ready for that boring and long winter that is due for the midwest. How I miss NH winters! Whatever spare time I manage to find away from work and family trappings, I plan to use on my Maywood Station module. Milwaukee Trainfest is only weeks away so a fever induced work session maybe in order.

So how about you? What are your plans this weekend? Track work, painting or building structures, whatever your model railroad to do list may be, let us know! A picture never hurts. We'll come back here on Monday the 14th and see how we all did. Until then, have a good and productive weekend, stay safe and...

I've got no plans other than the tannery. I picked up the coloring for the last couple of Hydrocal castings. I've already started putting the lighting in the boiler building, and now I'm thinking about the rest of the interiors. I'd like to get some bracing inside the buildings to make the roof pieces more stable, and then the roofs themselves need painting.

I'll continue on my SW1200RS project. I decided to give a try for replacing the Athearn shell's molded front grill with a scratchbuilt one made with styrene clapboard, a metal grille, and some styrene strip for the frame.
