I started out Friday night on the bench with the pieces cut for the newest industry which will take all my tank cars to service. I don't know exactly what they are manufacturing since its a big secret. However my re-cycled Green Max kits (2) and some additional tanks and various other industrial type stuff will complete the project. The tanks are piped and that will necessitate a pipeline crossing a double track siding. Right now we are waiting for glue to dry and enjoying a glass of fine wine. I love model railroading, Doc
FWIW Tank Car Repair Doc: I am a tank car guy myself. Bob Batson of the Texas Central got me started. Here is a view of the facility. Bob's idea was to repair and service (clean, paint, repair, construct, etc.) all kinds of tank cars. That way he was not restricted to one particular type and was able to have all types of materials arrive at the facility.
the very box, will now be there from Tuesday, someone chucked a sickie so I'll be at Balmain Rd again tonight, have to go via the bookshop to pick some entertainment.
