Welcome back everyone, and happy Good Friday. Today is kinda sad for me. Thanks to the current Pandemic, yet another one of my favorite traditions has been scrapped. For years, my good buddy Brian and I took Good Friday and would Railfan the BNSF, former Santa Fe Transcon from Toluca to Galesburg Illinois. We termed it, Good Friday, Great Railfanning. I hope you all are adapting to the new normal, lets get started. Saturday: I have this Saturday off. While I'm still technically employed by the dealership, we work from home and make appointments, meeting the customer at the dealership with all safety and health protocols firmly in place. This Saturday, I'm not on call so I'll be finally finishing the CTC panel project I started back last fall. Just a few more pieces and it will be in use. Sunday: Is supposed to be a rainy day. A good day to install the last two Tam Valley Switch servos. I'm also hopping to work on my way bills and some more signage for the layout. So how about you? The good news about this current state of affairs is that it has given us more time to get the projects done in our work shops and on our layout. Feel free to share, with images to help inspire everyone. We'll return on Monday the 13th to see what we all accomplished. Until then, be safe, be healthy and as always... High Greens!
