It sure is nice to hear the birds singing as I type this. It means railfan season for me is starting up again as well as a full plate of train shows. It's time for Weekend Modeling Plans!

I spent my evenings this past week making and planting trees on my Maywood T-Trak modules. Module number 3 has at least a dozen trees as that part on Google Earth shows a heavy amount of trees. I'm really getting close to the end mark on these modules which will be nice as I have spent at least a year on them. With a trade show behind me as well as the last issue at the printers, I can focus my attention this weekend on the train show in Decatur. My club and I will be setting up tonight and will be running our T-Trak modules all weekend so if your in the Decatur, Illinois area this weekend, be sure to stop in and say Hi! I don't have anything I need or want (yet) on my train shopping list and with Taxe day around the corner, I will probably behave.

So how about you? What are your plans this weekend? Train shows, Railfanning, club work? Whatever your plans are, let us know! We'll come back on Monday the 14th and see how we all did. Until then, have a happy, safe and warm weekend and...

    High Greens!

We declared ski season to be over for us. It was a good last weekend, but it's time to move on. So, last night I cleaned off my workbench and opened a couple of kits to look at the instructions once again. First up will be the the tank car platform, which I'll start tomorrow. Penny is taking a trip to Ireland with my sister in a few weeks, so I'll have the place to myself. That's when I plan to build the Branchline Trains' "Munnsville Depot" laser kit. I'm going to decorate it for Railway Express.

Hoping to break the airbrush out this weekend and finish up a GP38 for my private road. And start working on a Dash8-40B for the private road.
