I'm waiting to purchase some 1/2 inch plywood for my subroadbed so for now I'll try my hand at building some n scale turnouts. I'll start with some #4's to use in my soon to be switching yard and go from there. I will probably do some #5 and #6's as well, depending on how things go.

Are you using FastTracks guides? Also what code rail are you using? I've got the #6 and #8 tools from FastTracks and they work well for the most part. The biggest problem I ran into was the PCB throw bar being weak after drilling the hole for the servo connection. I picked up a few HO scale PCB ties but haven't gotten back to test with that yet.

I am just going with the paper templates from FastTracks site. Unfortunately their jigs are too rich for my blood but I have been 3d printing some jigs to help with filing and track spacing.

This morning I cut and painted a background panel for modules 01 and 12. After Cynthia does her thing I'm going to use caulking to the seams and paint to blend.

I'm working on cleaning off the fold up table and move it standing up against the east wall, where the closest is. This will give me room to modify benchwork on north wall where module 08 and a tall steel trestle that is two feet long will go.

    What a MESS.

Finally got the table cleaned and moved to the east wall so I can modify benchwork for module 08. Have to cut benchwork two places and drop it down a few inches. Then add support structure, fascia,
    Gesso and paint.

Whenever I see a work area that messy, it means someone very creative has been super busy there! Too bad work area's didn't have several layers that you can rotate through by the press of a button, so you could always have space for the next project! :D

Moving the table really opened up the room, I now have two chairs in the middle of room and that's it.

I cut the last background panel on the walls this morning and was hoping to use Gesso but wasn't able. Going to have the last background on modules 09 and 10.

Cynthia and I hung up the last overhead valence this evening.
