The weekend is almost here, can you feel it? I can, and I'm ready for it. How about you?

Well something about the best plans of mice and men........My buddy from up north can't make it down this weekend so I'm on my own. Rather than head to Galesburg as previously planned, I have decided to stay home. Everyone else has plans that take them out of the house by mid morning so I'll graciously accept the gift of a quiet house, an iPad full of paranormal podcasts and a full cup of coffee to spend time on my own modules.

I was able to get all the track work done to my first module as well as fill in any gaps with with ties. I need to next place ties into any gaps of track on module #2 then if the weather is as warm as they say it will be, I'll be painting and cleaning my tracks. I've ordered up some sheet cork for my industrial area and will hopefully start the basis of my scenery and road work. Now might be the perfect time for me to install my NJ International grade crossing lights and associated wiring too.

So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Track work, building structures or scenery? Let us know! We'll come back on Monday the 7th and see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and...

    High Greens!

Well track work continues on the new swing level section. Cork needs to be glued down on the carts then add a small section to bridge the gap and then track work will start. Waiting for two
switches that were ordered to show up. Also going to start picking up supplies to start some scenery in the back corner.

Probably, not to much - if any at all. Christmas party on Saturday -- then setting up Christmas on Sunday.
