Hey It's Friday! That can only mean one thing.....It's time for Weekend Modeling plans! I have a busy day scheduled in the shop today. I plan to get some decals sent of for printing and get a set of HO scale locomotives trimmed for a customer so I can deliver them on Sunday. We are on target to have temps here in the east Central Illinois of 64 degrees. With that, I'm going to take advantage of the warm weather to take my modules into the garage and paint the track. I'm just spray bombing the track so this will be a bit easier to deal with in the garage. Saturday I have to get fitted for my suit for the big day in September. After that, I may stop into my favorite not-so-local hobby shop to pick up a few more Tam Valley servos turnout controllers. I need three more then I'm done for now. Any time left over from that will be used to enjoy the warm weather. Sunday is our bi-annual Peoria Trainfair that my buddy Brian and I go to every November and February. I don't plan on buying anything but one never knows. All in all, a busy weekend indeed. So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Let us know! Well I do have some plans. I am starting to think about an expansion to my layout and will spend today on the computer drawing up the plans. Then I have a pile of stuff from the mess last week that I need to finish painting up. With the warm weather I am struggling to keep on task. My mind keeps drifting to the world of fishing.
Finally grabbed my compressor for my airbrush last night. Stripping some MT heavyweights tonight for SOO maroon...hopefully tomorrow while it's warm out. Going to try and finish detailing a SOO Geep tonight while I wait for the 90% ISO to take hold of the heavyweights.
Finished my weathering contest entry today. Thinking of some outdoor photography tomorrow while the snow is still in the trees. Have got to get back to work on benchwork. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Picked up my track and turnouts order from my not-so-local LHS last night. Busy weekend for other stuff, though, so may only get as far as placing things to see how they will look. We have a special Ops session at our club tomorrow (our regular meets are on Friday nights) so I won't be building but I'll still be having fun.
