Well, we've done it once again. I plan to make a run to Menards this morning and get the paint for the fascia as well as some other odds and ends. I just have a bit more concrete work to do on the 2nd module then I'm done that laborious process. I hope to get two more switch machines installed as well as get a lot of painting done on the roads. The other project I need to finish this weekend is the transport box I made to safely transport the modules in the Cherokee. Sometime in there, I also will take Jessica the Jeep's hard top off and install a soft top I picked up recently as well as get her new wheels on and generally clean her up and ready for RR Days. It's been a tradition since 2002 to bring the railfan Jeep and get her cleaned up ready for chasing trains. This year Angela will drive the Wrangler while the Cherokee will be both a module transport and tent as my co-conspirator and I will be camping out this year. I'm sure there will be some domestic duties to be performed as well but Angela knows this is my last weekend before the big show so she'll let me work. So how about you? I need to move some furniture in my apartment so the manager can come in a replace my living room blinds. I promised to burn some CDs for a friend. I can hopefully get to some modeling this weekend.
