Thanks to sporadic internet service, this train is finally pulling into the station. So with out any additional delays, it's the weekend, you have plans for your model railroad you want to tell us about, 1-2-3, GO! This will be a weekend to focus on T-Trak. I have a lot of work to do on my three Maywood Station modules before our Club Fun Run next Saturday. I also need to start the work on this years Galesburg RR Days tribute locomotive. Like last year, we'll auction this CB&Q inspired BNSF GE ES44 N scale locomotive with proceeds going to the Carl Sandburg College Foundation. Hopefully I'll be able to get a good jump on this project. So how about you? What plans do you have this first weekend of Spring? Let us know with a picture or two if you have them. Train Show! Yes, by fortunate coincidence, our first non-ski weekend for a while and the Greenberg show fall at the same time. I don't need anything in particular, but I've hardly done any train stuff for the last month. I'll look around the layout and make note of what I might be able to use. But, I'll also have to get the taxes done. There will be more ski weekends, and we are approaching the dreaded Ides of April.
Well I have identified 7 projects that I need to complete. Hope to get at least one done. 1. Finish building and install turntable 2. Finish the conveyor belt on my coal flood loader 3. I have a hopper car needing new trucks 4. Finish a decoder install on a P42 5. Finish installing my super chief xtra 6.
