Well it's happened again. The week is about over. Time to mark this Friday the 13th with a list of what to do! I was originally planning on heading up north this weekend for Trainfest in Milwaukee, but the club arrangements had already been made before I got my "normal" job with weekend's off so I'll be spending most of my weekend home bound. That is not a bad thing however as I have a lot to do and there is one small local show to go to. Saturday I plan to work on a customers Paducah Geep in N scale and get it as close to "ready for the paint booth" as I can before knocking off work around noon. After that, I'll be spending time under the hood replacing the thermostat, plugs and wires in my Clinton era Jeep Cherokee, then probably spend a nice quiet evening with my soon to be wife. On Sunday my best friend, Brian and I will be heading to Peoria for a small local train show. This usually includes a stop in Pekin at our favorite dinner for breakfast and a return later for lunch and pie. It's supposed to be nice so we'll do some railfaning of the Iowa Interstate and check out the BNSF in Chilli too. So how about you? What is up on deck for you this weekend? Let us know. We'll all come back on Monday the 16th and see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and of course... High Greens!
More of the same. Hope to get some work done on my pile and start scenery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
More work on my roundhouse, its getting closer. Just some final assembly and some adjustments. Perhaps I'll get up to my layout room, and get some work done on it. Wolf
I am going to cut about six sections of Woodland Scenic retaining wall to form a curved retaining wall. I stopped by the hobby shop and picked up gray paint for the project.
I have a new Bachmann 44-Tonner to break in, along with a few new hoppers to tune and run around a bit. My switching layout frame is painted and ready to be set up in its new home. I need to take some progress pictures and am thinking about starting a thread for it.
