We're at the last weekend before we recuperate from the Turkey Hangover, at least we Americans. The rest of you, maybe not so much and for our neighbors up north, they had theirs last month. Regardless of all that, it's time for Weekend Modeling Plans!

Since taking my new job last month, I work Wiggin Locomotive Works all day Tuesday and Thursday and from roughly 7:00 to noon on Saturdays so this Saturday will start with more work on a fellow Trainboard members Paducah GP10.

After that I plan to work a lot on the Galesburg Modules. In fact, I'm hopping to spend all day Sunday on them as both Ang and Jared will be gone for the day and the weather will be conducive enough for indoor activities only. Ties need to be glued down, a pesky short needs to be fixed and painting of the track must be done so I can go on to scenery. Our first show for the modules is the first weekend of April which may seem like plenty of time but trust me....

So how about you? What do you have planned, this the final weekend before the Holiday madness sets in? Let us know. We'll assemble back here on Monday the 23rd and see how we all did. Until then, have a great weekend, stay safe and as always...

    High Greens!

    Well let's see---

I have a short to fix now that I know what the cause is. Also found a tube of glue I have been looking for a month now so I can resume work on my carts. Pretty much from there I gotta finish cleaning my mess. Almost done. The wife wants her space back for her tree.

If we don't go new car shopping, I hope to work on my turntable. Programming the table and setting the whisker tracks. Perhaps, I will be able to work on a building or two.

Project number 1 is to build my NCE PowerCab into a portable box. I have a small loop layout in the basement, and I'm building a new small switching layout upstairs in a spare bedroom. It will allow me to just unplug and take everything up or downstairs as needed.

Beyond that, there's always track to cut and fit on the new layout, scenery details to add on the old one, and renumbering a locomotive that I've been putting off because I hate dealing with the microscopic decals.

Makes me imagine a loop going up through the floor into the other room

I am actually planning some model railroad model build today. The article in a recent Model Railroader on building laser cut wood kits got me motivated to start on the two that I have. Sunday, a friend and I are going down to San Francisco for the International Auto Show.

Run trains, more tweaking on the Riv/GHQ mike and the MP mogul ,( which I set aside after frustration, but that's a different story,) installing sound in my Yellowstone and some tweaking on the mallet so as to get it closer to paint.
