Where has October gone? Seams like yesterday I had some kid named Marty knock on my door and ask if he could take some garbage I had in the shop. Something about needing fuel for Doc's DeLorean and 1985. What ever time your in, lets get to to what we have planned for - The Future!

I'm starting my weekend by selling off a few more RC airplanes and supplies at a local swap meet on Saturday morning. How I do on this will determine if I go to a model airplane show in Columbus in a few weeks or stay home and run trains with my club at the annual Library show. I've started doing research on operations and paper work for the Galesburg City Job. I ran a simple exercise yesterday which involved a track cleaning car. Surprisingly, just a few short runs with the cleaning car and I had very few problems with the code 55 track and Kato NW-2. I hope to research a bit and find some prototype paper work that will make operations interesting. I also started by sorting the correct era of cars into one box specifically for the City Job. Looks like I need to paint a bunch of 40 foot CB&Q boxcars! I also still want to get ties installed and track painted on two of the three modules while we have warm weather. Considering the date, the whole state of Illinois is on borrowed time!

So how about you? What do you have planned this weekend? Are you planning on working in the steam era? Maybe transition era? How many are working on current day operations? What ever era you plan to work in, have fun, keep it safe and please - great Scott! Don't park the DeLorean on the tracks!

    High Greens!

Well I need to finish my three carts for my staging yard. I hope to paint them Monday if the weather stays decent. From there I go back into the train room and start working on my fold down section that crosses the doorway.

my decal jobs are done, so they need dullcoat and final weathering.

With end of summer yard work to do and early soccer Saturday and Sunday I suspect that is all I'll get to.
